Book of the year!

This site has been a bit slow recently and with good reason, I have been working on a book version of the sites content as a more permanent reminder of the season just gone. I can proudly say yesterday the first copy arrived at home and it's pretty good if I say so myself. It's not a comprehensive yearbook but it contains my reviews of all the meetings I went to with a few more photos than what I usually put up on the website. I basically did it as something for me but if anyone else wants a unique reminder of the 07-08 stockcar season then feel free to order one too. It has been a learning process with this first book and hopefully I'll be able to do this at the end of each season.

If you want one too, click on the banner to the right for "Blurb" (the website that prints them) and have a preview of the first 15 pages of the book, the 'cover star' is 135r Scott Hewson. Remember that the prices are in US dollars (do a currency conversion) and it took 2 weeks from ordering and printing to arrive at my door which isn't too bad. There is a hard cover version or a cheaper soft cover, I ordered the hardcover and can vouch for its quality and I will load some pics below when I get a chance.

Flashback 013

Photobucket

I was fortunate enough to be given a disc of photos that Gavin 'Pallmall' Evitt painstakingly scanned from the scrapbooks of the Francis Brothers who race the 21r Superstock out of Rotorua. So as the offseason drags on I'll put a few up every now and then with their permission...
